To achieve our vision of building a community of hope by enabling people of faith  to get involved in creative and healing to persons touched by crime we follow the advice of Mother Teresa when she said:

Let us touch the dying, the poor, the lonely and the unwanted according to the graces we have received and let us not be ashamed or slow to do the humble work.

We have three distinct ways people of faith can engage with those touch by crime according to the graces they have been given.

Ministry of Friendship

Include the faithful in a high degree of commitment to and involvement with an ex-prisoner; through fellowship and ‘walking together’.

Ministry of Works

Engage volunteers in works that provide ex-prisoner & family support through practical reintegration projects. Please click on the links below to find out more information about our current Ministry of Works programs:

Ministry of Prayer

Provides members of the community with meaningful, low risk level of association that serves as a direct spiritual support to individuals and is a parish building block to growing the impact of Friends of Dismas.
